"This is a great honour and I am extremely happy and proud to be nominated as the first team captain this year.  The secret of winning football games is working more as a team and less as individuals and I am sure that we have the courage and discipline to achieve this.  With a lot of hard work and some great coaching, we can win any match that is put in front of us.  The most important thing is to respect yourself, your opponents and the game.  My responsibility as team Captain is getting all the players playing for the name on the front of the shirt, not the one on the back."
